Have you noticed how for you and Liverpool it's all a bit £1 in £1 out?

City and utd are really just giving it the full Andy from little Britain.

Townsend isn't on the sale list, he's on the development list.
Considering how long we gave Lennon it'll be new stadium before he's a hero or zero.

Exactly

My point is that it all feels a tiny bit pointless

No gossip again today frown

At least with Harry we were linked to the odd megastar we knew we couldn't afford.

Surely this should gladden your heart a bit though?

Oh yes

As I said up the page, it was a dead cert if Benteke left. Just need Ade not to get too arsy about wages.

Stambouli looks like he will be gone soon too.

BCM, I saw a Berahino link in one of the papers. Not seen much of him so no clue if worth bringing in.

Yeah, i saw this too, we seem a lot more secretive & less brash with Poch & Mitchell at the helm, i'd still rather Benteke but i can well understand Levy's reluctance to spend massively after the Soldado debacle.

This has turned up on my PC though , Fingers , toes & winkle crossed , aye it's long wink

Laurent Blanc confirmed the arrival of Benjamin Stambouli (for PSG) last night and even went as far to say that the Frenchman might play a part in Les Parisiens’ next friendly match against Fiorentina.

The player completed his medical in New York yesterday before signing a 5 year contract. The deal is believed to be worth between €8m and €10m.

MoPo had a good look at him and didn't fancy him for whatever reason. Solid enough player, nothing special though. Certainly looks like we have a conveyor belt of similar ability midfielders coming through, so the money could be better spent elsewhere.

Or it's purely because he's French...

decentish money to get in then if you're not really gonna play him

I'm a bit surprised as he's not lit up anything but was a pretty dependable back up and there aren't a lot of players in the squad that play that position (DM).

Sounds like Chiriches may be heading to Fiorentina.

Pretty good work being done to clear out the deadwood.

A few more still to go. If they only manage to ship Ade out of the remaining I'd still consider it pretty successful, but think they'll manage to get rid of a few more.

I quite liked Stambouli but as you say good work by all at Spurs , just want a decent striker now & i think we'd be done for the summer.

Good to see us preparing at home rather than across the other side of the world too.
