Just reading the article in the Telegraph saying he scored 7 in 52 in the league. That's worse than Andy Carroll for us...

A good thing he only cost about a third of an Andy Caroll then isn't it.

A shame it didn't work out for him...he always tried and wasn't just turning up to collect a pay check.

If the 11m reported price is correct we haven't even made a loss, 16m over a five year contract is amortisation at 3.2m per annum, based on a player being signed and then seeing out his contract and going on a Bosman he's worth 9.6 without a loss on the books.
If only IM was here he'd explain it better but with incorrect maths :P

We can recall a player on loan that plays in a lower division but you're point does seem valid, We must have one lined up.
