Either way massive issue for them with Xavi and Puyol leaving too. I imagine the former will be shown some good terms to stay!!!
Puyol has been finished for a while sadly. Xavi won't be leaving. He has a contract till 2016.

Ban suspended pending an appeal, transfers as normal this summer, hardly a surprise but very disappointing.

Football authorities really are pointless.

Money talks and top level football is an absolute farce.

What a surprise. I doubt this ban would have been suspended for a lesser club somehow.

Frustrating, but Barca aren't the only ones doing it.

My sister-in-law used to work for one of the big Premier League sides and managed a lot of the logistics and paper work for the new kids coming in from Africa and South America. All sorts of dodgy stuff going on with the kids parents being provided with visas, jobs, houses and cars when fees couldn't be paid directly.

Am I right in thinking Hazard's (of Chelsea)brother got a 'contract' at Chelsea too? I'm sure that's what my son told me lately.

Yes he signed for Chelsea shortly after his brother but Thorgan is an half decent player, so nothing really iffy going on there.

Was only time before Barcelona got the ban turned over. Not surprised what so ever.

I'd imagine he wouldn't get an improved contract though. The money he earns during his contract is almost definitely factored into Hazard's decision to come.

An interesting one. One that we will maybe never know the facts of.

Indeed, the corruption in football is blatant.
