I dont get this thinking behind the people who have suppose to have vanished after losing to Chelsea... I cannot imagine one Liverpool fan in the world right now who is not walking head held high... At the start of the season we were pretty much written off for top 4, our best player was leaving, our manager was not up to the job and Spurs were a better team than us.....I'm with Sergeant Orange when he said he wouldn't like to serve with some of the deserters on here in the trenches when the chips are down, talking of chips , oh another time.
At the moment we are top of the league in May by 3 points, have the PFA player of the year, top goalscorer, most assist maker, 3 players in team of the year, guaranteed champions league football - why would we be hiding after a defeat to chelsea, not forgetting this followed a 16 game unbeaten streak with 11 straight wins.....
Yes we lost to Chelsea but thats football, you dont win them all, I was proud of the fact our team who could spend 100m in the summer and come to our ground hoping to nick a result (which they did and fair play to them)
You don't see it from a Spud point of view, unsurprisingly. One or two individuals spend day after day in our thread on the constant wum & it has only just occurred to me just how modest an ambition that actually is, and we find that the day Liverpool lose a big one, they disappear. It's a well worn m.o. for one of them, who really does like to light the blue touch paper & retire. So naturally, we enjoy a chuckle when the tables are turned.

Well said, easy to forget how far a young team has come this season, and still with a decent chance of the league, win both games and you never know. Be interesting this summer, good signings are needed and still don't have full confidence with that side of the club
