He's not what I would class as a traditional DM, more a very energetic Box to Box midfielder, he is great in the tackle and relentless at trying to regain posession but he also has a great eye for a pass and can create chances, score etc

I guess as he slows down with age he may be more traditional as a DM the big question mark is whether his all energy style is his main attribute and how much he would suffer

Normally LVG has 3 in midfield, DM,CM,AM my understanding is as Hererra and Vidal are both good defensively as well as offensively he is willing to go CM,CM,AM

I would be livid if you chaps got him, I think he is genuinely top 5 CM in the world

As mentioned a page or two ago it seems we are now buying anyone that might be available. And usually seem to be in the leading position to get them too... Obviously a lot of papers nonsense, but I wonder if there's deliberate mis-information going round to make it unclear who we would prefer. Then clubs are less likely to overcharge if they know their player is our main target?

So did we last year. Only 5 so far unless you count the two kids that walked out of three point lane to join us.
Difference being your 7 were all signed as immediate starters. Ours are a pleasent mix for now and the future. Plus all those Champions league games that the Spuds thought were going to be their's this season!!!

8th to 2nd in two seasons whilst playing attractive attacking football.
While Spuds have fallen out of Europe and had 3? managers or is it 4? Hard to keep up with the revolving door out of the managers office there.
