SuperJoe watch: stunning 80 yard track back to make last ditch goal saving tackle after Milan break on the counter.

Lambert leading the line. Oh dear. Did he score many goals last season?
28 in two seasons. 13 last season.
I reckon he'll do an ok job in the cups and on the bench.

Ibe looks like a player.

Balotelli next goal scorer.
AC pressing now. Wonder if it has anything to do with Sterling coming off and Suso replacing him?

Have to say this AC Milan side is unrecognisable from past sides. Ok, they are playing a few younger players and yes the Italian League has suffered in recent years. It is going to take a very long time to rebuld this team. Can see why they finished 8th last season.

Also not spending any money, nothing like the AC Milan of old.

Great goal from Suso. Boring 2nd half otherwise.

Cannot believe that Lambert missed a penalty for you...
At the Saints he converted 34 out of 34

Think Lambert adds a different dimension for you. Last 20 minutes of a game, he'll hold the ball up and feed the faster members of your team. He's also got a fair first touch

United in the final then. They have been playing worryingly well!

That's what I thought when I watched him take it. I hope him not scoring doesn't become 'a thing' for him.

Not good news, DS has flown home with an injury.

Even when we played 1 game a week, Sturridge missed something like 9 league games last season. He gets injured, we all know it, and Lambert starting 9 league games is asking for trouble.

How many of those 13 last season were penalties? I'm sure he came with a reputation for taking them.

Ibe does indeed look like a really good prospect. Hopefully he'll get a decent loan or some regular pitch time this season.

Less than 2 weeks to the start of the season, we still need a full back and a striker. I have a funny feeling BR will be in for Bony.

Full back? I thought we'd just agreed the deal for Moreno and a 2 year loan deal for Manquillo? I've been real busy last few days so maybe they're not official yet?

Agree on the striker front. I imagine all the prices are going up by the day now clubs know how desperate we are!
