There is a strange sense of deja vu when I read this. Like, where have I heard those names mentioned before? The stats from the article: http://anfieldindex.com/9965/assessing-liverpools-...
Age | Goals per 90min | Accuracy | Chances created | Take on rate | |

Is that all time record?Age | Goals per 90min | Accuracy | Chances created | Take on rate | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Eto'o | 33 | 0.62 | 59% | 1.53 | 38.3% |
Bony | 25 | 0.58 | 44% | 0.91 | 52.17% |
Cavani | 27 | 0.63 | 45% | 0.90 | 56.25% |
Falcao | 28 | 0.58 | 60% | ||
Balotelli | 24 | 0.55 | 49% | 1.26 | 50.44% |
Not trying to sound biased but if you factor in who Bony has played for compared to the others his stats look even better.
No idea, just the stats from that article. I think those stats are just for each players last season, which the more I think about it, the more I think they are the only stats worth looking at. Yes, someone might have been injured, so his stats maybe based on far fewer playing minutes, but I certainly wouldn't look at a players stats beyond his last season. You only need to think of Torres, Carrol and Soldado to see why!

Milan-Liverpool, ongoing negotiations for Balotelli: You can close quickly

Gianluca Di Marzio
Balotelli Liverpool, not only a practical concern. More. Real negotiations going on between the two clubs, working to close. Based on a final basis, it is the intention of Milan. On site, there is also Mino Raiola, agent of the boy. Operation that surprise could be defined in a very short time, perhaps as early as today. Milan-Liverpool, Mario ago suitcases. The Premier League seems to be his destiny. Again.

I am shocked that BR is going after Balotelli. Yes he is young enough but I am not sure even BR can handle him and craft him into a world class striker.
Me too, although if Steve Peters gets in his ear he could work some magic. Also, is he settling down with his mrs? Might calm him down a bit.I'm just off to Tesco to get some humous so my bk tastes a bit nicer.
Well, the management team at LFC were able to work their magic to the point where Suarez got through a whole season without controversy. The Uruguayan national team couldn't even calm him for a month!
Besides, LFC without someone completely mental up top just wouldn't feel right any more!

Still, if he can stick it in the net, who cares?
you know - this. 100%He's a top european international 24 yr old, 6ft 2in striker who can score goals home and in europe.
He plays/ed for Man City, Milan and Inter.
Chaps a bit mental but he's got pedigree.
Get him bought as its not as if we're overrun with choices.
