I just love the fickleness of fans
A few pages back were stats showing how Balotelli was probably the worst of the options being considered...go back further and there are comments about him only being a "name" and not up to much...fast forward to him being signed and we get the YouTube clips and stats like he's the top scorer in Seria A since he joined....love it

I have always quite liked the idea - especially at the price.

We are all the same - A few pages back were stats showing how Balotelli was probably the worst of the options being considered...go back further and there are comments about him only being a "name" and not up to much...fast forward to him being signed and we get the YouTube clips and stats like he's the top scorer in Seria A since he joined....love it
TBH For mostfans its a sense of relief to get someone in with a goalscoring record. Then you figure him in for 16m not £25-£28m and you can see why it makes sense ....
If Cavani and Falcao were not going to happen, rumours are it was him or Eto - I would go Balotelli over Eto all day long....maybe not a few years ago but now I would.

There were a number of 'us' saying they'd be happy with Balo, I wasn't one of them! But if he's coming then we might as well get behind him!

I always liked the idea - but as you say whats the point of bhing? If it's going to happen we may as well cheer him on until the season's done. There were a number of 'us' saying they'd be happy with Balo, I wasn't one of them! But if he's coming then we might as well get behind him!
I reckon 15 goals, 6 assists, 2 totting up bans and a red card.
