Pirlo ''Balotelli has matured since he has been back in Italy, Anybody who still talks about him in that way is living in the past.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6zgQTMHi1QHas he learned to get dressed yet?

Bargain.
Seems almost too cheap after the silly prices we've been seeing.
Not having a dig, but it's certainly cheap compared to what you paid for Lukaku.Seems almost too cheap after the silly prices we've been seeing.
I think he'll have a great start and become a hero, but if anything causes him to flip out, he'll turn into a nightmare.
Exciting player that I thought added a load of drama to the premier league when he played for City, but I didnt 'covet' him as such for my team..... brings loads of baggage.
Still, bargain.
Too late for Monday? Shame.
I think he'll be a great signing. £16 million, last chance at a big club and a point to prove. Can play in a front 2 or step in for Sturridge as the lone striker. The question for me is his work rate. Get that right and I'm sure he's good enough also to play across the front 3 although I personally doubt he'll be asked to do this in the way Suarez and Sturridge did. Especially with the signings of Laser and Lallana.
When you consider Long was bought for 12 million and we'll be selling Borini for 14 million, Balotelli at 16 million is a good price. As for his past, he is much older now than he was at City and he won't be managed by a madman like Manchini. We're going to do well with him I think.

Last season DS did well as defenders were all over LS, this season I was worried that he wouldn't get space but having MB on the pitch will draw defenders and give DS the space - astute move as its only 15% more than a BoriniI think he'll be a great signing. £16 million, last chance at a big club and a point to prove. Is there still a good chance that this might not actually go through ?? Wages for instance?
Nothing has been signed yet and he's not had his medical, so of course it could all fall through. However I imagine if he's on the plane and said goodbye to everyone at Milan yesterday, he's pretty sure he won't be back, which suggests to me he has a good idea of the package we're offering to him and he's happy with it.RedTrident said:
Lifted off the BBC. Some amazing stats. Much better than I thought it would be.
AC Milan sign Balotelli from City in January 2013 for £19m, and the striker goes on to score 30 goals in 54 games.
I noticed that stat on a video clip and I must say its very impressive and I hope BR manages to get the best out of him and if he does it could be a very clever signing and I suppose only time will tell, as most others have said from what I have read he will certainly bring some drama and excitement back to the premiership whether that be on or off the pitch. I am going to hold judgement on MB for now he wouldn't have been on my list of strikers to go for. I think BR will have has hands full, imho MB doesn't have the desire or passion we will need this year to compete for top 3,
And I just looking for a big paycheck.
I am however hoping to be proved wrong

I can't see Sturridge and Super Mario starting many games together to be honest. I think they'll be rotated as lone strikers. But I may be wrong. TEKNOPUG said:
SO you aren't going to sign him, is that what you are saying?

What were you saying ?
Liverpool Echo report James Pearce: Liverpool talks with Balotelli agent have reached successful conclusion. Player will now fly into UK this afternoon to begin medical.
Now I just need the news that Borini and Assaidi have left for 20 million combined. Add Lucas and Agger money and it would make it a very good transfer window, especially with Suarez leaving. Think we'll hardly have spent anything and saved on wages when the numbers are finally in.
I can still see us going on for Eto'o for a season whilst we wait on Origi finishing his year on loan.
