WTF?! I know we're trying to bed new players in, but our target should be to beat whoever we come up against. Against Tottenham - I'd be gutted with a loss, a draw is just about acceptable but we should be aiming for a win!
badly worded by me I grant you, BR and the team should aim to win, as a supporter getting 4 points from 6 against Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton would be pretty good IMHO (on current form we should get 6/6 from Man Utd and 1/6 from City)Edited by Adam B on Wednesday 27th August 17:59

I presume those that criticise Allen are the same who criticised Lucas (I did, and learned my mistake) and Henderson (how foolish do they look now). All the same types of player getting through loads of non headline grabbing work absolutely vital to our gameplan.
It would prove more fruitful for you to repeatedly smash your forehead into a wall. I've given up now, apart from occasional temper outbursts! If Utd really were in for him we'd sell him immediately. Of that I have no doubt.
How foolish must some people look who thought Carroll was a striker and Downing a top 4 winger.
Utterly bizarre comment at a completely random moment.
Hardly any of us wanted Carroll or Downing (or Roy for that matter) and there's not an LFC fan alive who wanted them at the amounts they cost, but like any player, once they are a red, they will be supported and given a fair crack of the whip and the chance to prove themselves.
I don't the see the problem with that.
Those 2 players are ancient history Raja. Let it go. Be happy with where are now in comparison to those dark days.
Take solace from our better manager, better squad and much better style of play...

Yet chose to respond to my post. Can't help yourself I see. Why not pick on HR?
I didn't realise the dark days of Roy were the same as Carroll and Downing. I'm sure they were signed under a different manager. And I remember those 'dark days' differently where the majority thought they were good signings.
