I don't disagree with you at all JB. I'm not the one who started the how foolish other posters must look....

Yet when I respond, in keeping with the style of HRs post....

Happy to move on but lets not pretend this was all about me.

So today we sold the youngster Peterson to FCC Utrecht and papers suggesting that were about to go back in for shaquiri as athletico step up interest in him.
Is he a striker or another front 3 player? We do need a 4th striker imo. Someone who can replace one of Sturridge and Balotelli. I'd hoped we bought Eto'o but Shaquiri seems to be a much better longer term option.

Hardly any of us wanted Carroll or Downing (or Roy for that matter) and there's not an LFC fan alive who wanted them at the amounts they cost, but like any player, once they are a red, they will be supported and given a fair crack of the whip and the chance to prove themselves.

I don't the see the problem with that.
Quite.

Front 3/winger same mould as Stirling/markovic I think ! Etoo as a 3rd/4th striker IMO would have been ideal, got a feeling he will come back to haunt us when we play Everton.

Eto'o has gone (in one more than one sense), he did nothing at Chelsea.

Would love to see Shaqiri turn up. From what I've seen he could play as a striker if we were down to bare bones, but he can also play across the front three.

We've had tougher Champions League draws. I fancy our chances.

Anyone know what odds I would get on the LFC fans on here stopping bhing at each other ???

I always thought we would want the same thing but apparently arguing with one another is more Important.

We are never going to agree on every formation/game/signing, But I would have hoped we were all old enough to accept someone else's opinion.

Personally I think Sunday is a bit more important than any signings we made a few years ago or who was wrong or right.

Now if you could stop arguing and pick up your stray care in the community chap from our thread it would be appreciated, before he accuses anymore Spuds of being Utd fans wink

hehe

I think he just secretly wants to be northern, when his missus goes out he's straight to the garage where he's got a stash of flat caps, whippets and ale.

hehe

Alonso is moving to Bayern for 10m EUR, Khedira staying put. Apparently Pep and Alonso spoke back in Oct about the move! Shame, would have loved to have him back for his final few years.

He's probably better than Cleverley- he's a starter!

No offence but do we have to? Can't we trade him to the Spids thread or something? We've got enough on our plate as it is at the moment.
