hehe it is roughly that, maybe a bit more. Can't even get discounted tickets for my fiancée yet as we aren't married.

Would be the worst thing ever biggrin i've took a penalty at half time and that was daunting. Couldn't imagine a Wedding.

Flying from where? Mine is working out about £240 Mon-Wed but that is just me in the hotel atm.

Crazy. Looked at flights again this morning from Gatwick. Mon-Weds had gone up to over £120, but Tues-Thurs was still at ~£70.

Tue-Thurs looks to have gone up again now, cheapest on easyjet £120.

Why don't you just hire a mini bus & pick Jammy & Glen up on the way through

It's 1300 miles & google reckons it's 21 hours non stop to Madrid from Liverpool, one way would be preferable biggrin

What a jolly up eh chaps .

Guys I've lived sbroad for a long time. How do I get tickets for the Basel game?
Ian, I reckon tickets are going to be really tough to get hold of- As an ex-Kemlyn Road season ticket holder (shwoing my age) and now resident/supporting FCB in Basel, I've been waiting for this draw for years!

FCB's usual approach (especially if they draw someone tasty, like Real or Barca; I think Liverpool would also fit this category) is to only sell a package of tickets for all 3 group matches, for the usual extortionate price (reckon on 250-300 CHF). But I'm going to try anyway. Might also consider popping back to Anfield in December, we'll have to see!

Being in with the Basel fans would be no problem- it's just Zurich that we hate! wink

Brendan Rodgers said:
Glen Johnson is likely to miss their trip to Tottenham on Saturday.

The full-back limped off during the Reds' 3-1 defeat at Manchester City on Monday, as did new signing Alberto Moreno.

"Moreno is recovering well but Glen Johnson is probably the one that will struggle to make the Spurs game rest of the season, fortunately."

Sadly not much can be done when buying the day before. If you are going with your Mrs you could buy a two together railcard though and save £20-£30.
