Only a matter of time before Lallana replaces him. Our 3 midfielders haven't got enough goals in them. You'd expect at least 20 league goals from our midfield 3. Take away Gerrard's penalties and we probably won't get 10 goals from a combination of Gerrard, Henderson and Allen. It's why I'm looking forward to Lallana and wanted to see him here long before we signed him.

Hopefully we see Lovren and Sakho. I'd rather see Lovren on his so called weaker side than Toure on his stronger. Would have liked to have seen Mario start. Team for me would be. Sterling and Lallana should have the legs to make this a flexible 442, 4312 or 433.

Mig
Manquillo Lovren Sakho Moreno
Henderson Gerrard Lallana
Sterling
Sturridge Mario

If he playes a left side of Stirling Allen and Moreno spurs will just throw everything down it and the games over.
I would like to think the 10+ analysts wound realise the fked up against City and sort it.

Mario should start as well

Must just be fitness levels keeping them out

How fast is spurs back line
Forward 3 of

Makovic
Sterling
Sturridge

Is so quick, if they play a high line there will be space they can exploit! Markovic is as fast as sterling

Whispers of Balotelli starting.
I hope so as it will give that lacking edge we have had up front.
Surely gives the oppositions defence and defensive mid something else to think about with more than 1 striker.

I'll be well pleased if that is the side, with nana coming on for Allen in the second half.

Apparently Rodgers said he was ok to play. Hopefully nothing has set him back.
I didn't expect him to start but would have been good to see him on the bench.

Yup, confirmed team...

Mignolet; Manquillo, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno; Henderson, Gerrard, Allen; Sterling, Sturridge, Balotelli.

Sterling, Balotelli, Sturridge... its The SBS!! hehe

Nana not on the bench sadly, our weak left is even weaker with Sakho on it as well - let's hope we score 3 or 4 we will need it I am sure.

An upgrade on the SAS? wink

Will be interesting to see how all three combine. Looks promising on paper.

Spud team: Lloris; Dier, Kaboul (c), Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Capoue; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Adebayor

Very average looking team IMO.

No one in that lineup I would take to liverpool.

I hope Sturridge and Sterling don't follow Balotelli around and follow suit in what he does.
Balotelli seems infectious in what he does.

So much for my prediction that Mario and Sturridge won't play together.

Are we genuinely moving Sturridge wider to accommodate Super Mario or will we have a midfield diamond and 2 up top.

Fascinating to see.
