He won't play every game, nor will he play for every minute of every game he starts.

I'm looking forward to see a midfield 3 of Henderson, Can and Lallana. Hopefully they'll get a few carling cup games to develop a partnership.

As much as I love Gerard.. Would BR consider dropping him / using him for 30-45 mins instead of 90? Im sure he has considered this? The great thing is we now have many midfield options, Cant wait to see Lallana pull on the LFC jersey, Our midfield could potentially be the best in prem league.

Shame it'll be offset by the Sakhos**te providing us with one of the worst defences...

Sakho really is beyond ste.. As well as being a crap defender he also gets other players into trouble with risky / over-hit passes.. Surely Agger was a more reliable proposition rather than let him go? Is Sakho really an International player??????

Would be a good signing if the drums are indeed being beaten.

Yes. He did start and play all 90 minutes yesterday. He won't all season. Can you really see him playing a full champions league game and then playing a full game at the weekend?

Falcao agrees to move to United after supposedly turning down Liverpool due to his 'desire' of playing for Real Madrid.

LOL. How the mighty have fallen.

Coates has joined Sunderland on loan. Good move for him and Liverpool.

I read that as 'Falcao agrees to take an absolute shed load of money from Man Utd after supposedly turning down Liverpool's offer of a shed load of money due to his 'desire' of accepting a shed load more money from Real Madrid'.

Football has changed.

If anything it proves that had we been willing to pay the loan fee (rumoured to be now 6 million) and his wages, then we could have had him signed.

Yes we've spent a lot of money but in terms of net spend this window we've spent very little. And I still think we need a 3rd striker that can compete for a starting position. I'd love to see a deadline day striker and keeper brought in.

I'd take a really good central defender over a new striker - scoring goals doesn't tend to be our problem.

Willing to give Minge the benefit of the doubt.

why? they were willing to pay a veryhigh fee and wages for a loan deal, and we probably weren't.

To me this just illustrates they cannot attract tier 1 talent (neither can we) but they have deeper pockets to get around the problem

I love the way United are piling on the flair players onto a midfield and defence made of cheese - is LvG a shyster who got lucky? does he go to bed at night pinching himself that at his age he gets to blow so much money - if Moyes had this cash available would United have trusted him to spend it?

I see trouble ahead.
