He didn't want to join Sunderland. That's not the same as him wanting to stay is it?
Riiiight. What did he tell you he wanted when you spoke to him?You have no idea what he wants and I don't either but he's still here when he could have left - gives a bit more credence to my point than yours.
Sorry to rain on your parade RT, but an interview he did not so long ago: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/9461....
There were strong rumours he was also wanted by AC Milan, who are by no means just an average club.
I'm not trying to say that he'll ever be amazing, but it funny that the same people continue to under-estimate players!

"Staying at Liverpool is one of them. I'm in a big side who try to win each competition. And that is where I want to be.”
You could say that he only wanted to move to a top club or that he was intent on staying only at Liverpool, either way we'll never know. There were strong rumours he was also wanted by AC Milan, who are by no means just an average club.

So why even talk to Sunderland and QPR? If he wanted to stay at Liverpool or go to a big club talking to those others was pointless then right?Borini said:

How has he been under estimated? He's average. I've seen players give interviews many a time talking the club up before leaving. The only reason he'd have not gone to AC Milan is because either they weren't in for him or that they offered peanuts. I'm hoping Borini starts on Tuesday night. His level.

Henderson - considered average, now look.I'm hoping Borini starts on Tuesday night. His level.
Carragher - considered past his best then fought back into the first team and was our best defender for the last 6 months of his career.
Flanagan - didn't want him anywhere near the first team then he played a major part in turning us into a top four team again.
Why not give Borini the benefit of the doubt until he's had a run in the team to get settled, rather than be quick to judge?
