Reports Suso has agreed 4 year deal with Milan

Could regret this one
I thought he always looked pretty handy but as time rolled on it just seems to be like the Pacheco debacle.
If true then he is either not wanted or not prepared to wait anymore to play as this is the season he should have been making a good breakthrough in and not falling down the pecking order again.

Much better player than he ever was....

Oh agreed. I meant more the whole situation, loans and not really getting a run.

For me a loan in the prem would be ideal - dont get selling him...

He would get in a number of prem teams - spurs would be ideal fit for him for a loan, they like to play football and he is better than what they have CM .

Suso and Pacheco never really stepped up though, have they? Some pre-season appearances notwithstanding (which mean naff all really).

Suso could make it in the prem - what I or most of us dont know is could he make it in a top 4

Pacheco was never really top 8 quality -

How has he been under estimated? He's average. I've seen players give interviews many a time talking the club up before leaving. The only reason he'd have not gone to AC Milan is because either they weren't in for him or that they offered peanuts.

I'm hoping Borini starts on Tuesday night. His level.
Henderson - considered average, now look.
Carragher - considered past his best then fought back into the first team and was our best defender for the last 6 months of his career.
Flanagan - didn't want him anywhere near the first team then he played a major part in turning us into a top four team again.

Why not give Borini the benefit of the doubt until he's had a run in the team to get settled, rather than be quick to judge?
Because if RT throws enough st at every player, manager and exec he might get it right one day. After all a broken clock is right twice a day...
Isn't that the transfer policy of almost every club? Buy enough crap and hope someone turns out decent.

How do you rate Teixeira compared to Suso. Looks a better prospect
to me from the vids I've watched

Feel sorry for the lad, not only is there massive competition for his positions now, but this must be just about the worse time for him to get a big injury as he's fighting to break into the squad!

Hopefully he'll come back stronger.

I watched Teixeira when he played our youth for Benfica - very good prospect - better? not sure but for me both I would like to keep

Teixeira is doing very well for Brighton

Wish we had sent Suso out to someone in the Prem - Swansea would be perfect for him to show his ability

Not to mention his international chances too though I know you probably don't give a hoot about England after the Sturridge fiasco.

With the Euro qualifiers coming up, he could have carved himself a spot in the backline as we aren't exactly blessed in the right back department.

Agreed on Pacheco. Must be a reason why Suso hasn't been loaned out to a Prem team if he's not going to get used. I guess we won't know. Maybe he was "difficult". Maybe he just didn't put the graft in. Ultimately we don't know that much, on the outside.

I think it's the regularity & vitriol with which it delivered gets somewhat tiresome. Yes we would all like a four striker superstar line up, but it just isn't going to happen, so back into reality it would be nice to see a bit of support for players that want to stay & improve & actually show some desire to get into the team.
