Do we know if Sye & Hornet are ok ?

They seem to have gone AWOL , i do hope they are both well & ok .
I think they are on a broke back mountain-esque trip together. They will be back "refreshed" ready for Tuesdays game.

I thought sye was furiously scouring YouTube for clips showing how good the new signings are while silently weeping.

I'm sure Sye will be linking us links with amazing pool player stats soon,

& Hornet marking our cards with the specials at Greggs this week

Been away for the wknd just got back, have I missed much ?

Listen it was a shocking result, cohesion has gone, obviously we miss Suarez who the hell wouldnt, but we are also missing Sturridge just as much, he is so important to how we play... without him we dont attack as quick or pull defenders around as much.
RB is young and naive with positioning as was Moreno, not gonna start claiming they are ste though or not good enough, just need time...having both in the side is probably not ideal and I imagine Flannagan would be in but BR is unlucky there...

As for asking for him him to be sacked or he is a fraud again this is just laughable..... I dont even need to comment
Can you imagine how many sackings would happen if this was the attitude of all owners - there would not be any managers left.

Big plus for us is UTD, EVERTON AND SPURS are ste too ...smile

We will only get better this year, expecting it all to click so early with so many new faces is asking way to much. The manager and the players need to improve and quick and no better game to do it in than the Derby smile

yikes

That's a hell of a forfeit to pay if you lose.

The latter is a fact by the way.
I think this is the problem a few people have on this thread.
It's no a fact it's your opinion ( and one you are entitled too)...
And the facts actually say it was the opposite (higher win percentage etc), even if we know he did have a big influence on how well we did.

Sell big name striker - buy a big name striker - FFS Brenda show some f*cking logic!!!!!!
You make it sound so easy, why didn't BR think of that? Oh he did but we couldn't find one that wanted to come

Although Remy still annoys me and probably will do all season
A very highly respected Spurs podcast said that Remy wanted over £100k a week to join Spurs, Maybe his high wage demands & dodgy ticker was the reason some of the bigger clubs gave him the swerve.
I really hope that was the case and there was a decent reason, so why didn't LFC come out and say we "couldn't agree personal terms" or whatever the current polite euphemism is for "greedy wker"? Instead it was implied (was there an official statement?) that he failed the health check, so why are ours tougher than Chelsea's?

Fair enough beer a had plenty at the TV this weekend, try to avoid doing it on here due to the amount of Spurs and Utd fans who spend their lives on this thread, although they seem quieter today for some reason smile

I'm sure we can ALL take comfort in witnessing our 2 closest rivals loosing today, and it most definitely makes yesterday's defeat more bearable. BR just needs time to gel the squad, the mood is upbeat and we have some cracking players.

We have to remember this was a long term-project and the players he has signed are all (w/o Lambert) on the better side of 25!

Funny that?

Gutted yesterday but all those around us (especially United) also ended up in a similar position.
