The Express have claimed that Liverpool are ready to offer Raheem Sterling a new contract (more than £100,000-a-week) to keep him at Anfield.
Sterling – whose current deal at the club runs out in 2017 – earns £30,000-a-week, but that salary is set to be significantly increased with the new long-term contract.

I think shareholders from the Gilette and Hicks days became prority rights holders when the club was sold.

Bit of a bargain for us with that weekly wage! Good to see him get one that he deserves more (albeit in a relative sense in the world of football).

Great to see him playing such good football when people had written him off after a few games into his first season!

He will be a mainstay for years, I can see him taking over the Gerrard role in his heyday of box to box energy for the whole match, seems to be developing a real eye for a pass as well recently.

I saw it, I am not 100% sure I agree, if I was to jump and touch the highest point I would get jump then power up, if you were only slighlty crouched I personally dont think you can get as high.. I know he compared 1 or 2 with Neur but I would like to see more research done before coming out with something like that... I do think he lacks in areas but seems this seems a bit much for me....
No 1 was saving that shot by Jags, no matter what Neville says...
