Have to say i've never heard of New Balance before. Also echo the above! The NB badge looks awful compared to Warrior.
There's a New Balance footwear factory just along the road from where I live.

New Balance seems in fashion at the moment. Kanye West wearing the trainers. Alex Curran wearing them. Seen a pair of trainers for sale for £120 yesterday. They wouldn't have dreamed to price them at that last year.
They've been selling premium stuff for a long time.

On Twitter, both talkSPORT and the Liverpool Echo reporting that Sturridge is out for a month after sustaining a calf injury in training....

Ah ok smile Only started noticing them on celebrities lately.

Sturridge's injury history for us

14/15 Thigh Muscle Strain Sep 5, 2014- Oct 3, 2014 28 days 6 games LFC
13/14 Sprained Ankle Dec 1, 2013 Jan 9, 2014 39 days 9 games LFC
13/14 Torn Ankle Ligament Nov 27, 2013 Jan 9, 2014 43 days 9 games LFC
12/13 groin strain Feb 3, 2013 Feb 14,2013 11 days 3 games LFC

I had decided to give Balotelli time and also Lambert, especially with them two being similar players but now I realise we just don't have a versatile striker who is similar to Sturridge. We got £75m for Suarez in the summer and decided not to even attempt to replace a tiny bit of his quality. We royally fked up.
Balotelli played 54 games for City, scored 20 and 9 of them were from the penalty spot. So 10 goals basically.

------------Mignolet
Manquillo Skrtel Lovren Moreno
-------------Allen
-----Hendo Gerrard Lallana
--------Sterling Balotelli

Could Gerrard play a more advanced role on Sunday? See if he can sort that lone striker issue we have? I know he couldn't play there all game...

I'm absolutely gutted about Sturridge . We have messed up big time by not buying a mobile striker this summer. It's not exactly a surprise that Danny gets injured lots is it!

New balance by the way do loads of expensive stuff. Warrior is definitely a cheaper brand than the parent company.

To be fair we did try to sign Sanchez.

I think not signing Remy was our biggest screw up.

Qpr Hull Newcastle next 3 prem games, taking us till the 8th nov for Chelsea, hopefully he will be back then!

Gonna miss him massively against Real! Deffo need to go with formation above , cram midfield and hope we can nick one !

If we can sign Origi in jan by spending a few extra million we need to do it! Could be difference of top 4 or no top 4

I understand the issue we had with Remy, I can forget that.
Just can't believe that we knew Suarez was going, had 2 and a half months and ended up with Balotelli. Ok Balotelli was deemed cheap at £16m but I think everyone can see why he was only £16m.
Had we spent £30m we might have got a proper decent striker, someone who can assist and score goals who isn't just a target man frown
We got £75m for Suarez, sold an unbelievable player and it feels like we haven't even replaced a 10th of his quality in the attacking department.

Hopefully it doesn't take Balotelli that long to score a goal smash

Did I just read the stat of only 11 outfield goals in 54 Man City appearances. So he scores in the PL effectively once every 5 games. Heskey had a better record than that!

Man, I have gone from being down that Sturridge is injured again to now being devastated after reading that stat. We should never have signed Balotelli. Never.

I don't think he will score at all. He makes Fred and Soldado look like world beaters.

Bony was the realistic option we should have gone for to be the Sturridge rotation. Instead we have 2 strikers that lack mobility and 1 that just lacks. I reckon we'll see another striker brought in January where next summer we'll end up with Sturridge, Origi, Balotelli and whoever arrives in January.

I actually think that Balotelli will come good if he has someone like Gerrard and/or Coutinho playing in a more advanced role.
