The Southampton manager has come in and immediately made an impact with far less resources and a team that has been decimated of its best players. BR is in his 3rd season and continues to look clueless. We all know who the driving force was last season. And I doubt there are many people who think we bought well this summer.

I think by Xmas we will know without question if Bren has been a lucky manager rather than an astute one, I have always thought he was lucky but obviously with a degree of skill however that skill level has been exceeded by the problems in replacing a world class striker with virtually no striker.

Fwiw I would immediately try Fabio and admit the Balo experiment has failed or try them together and this game is the perfect one to try them
