As a user of the site I didn't find anything on this thread offensive in any way.
The same thing keeps happening time and time again - if we knew why that was, we could stop and all the problems would go away.

If you don't want calling out for your opinions, don't post. And sheath, or turd for that matter is hardly beyond primary school level of teasing.

CedGTV - yes, I've trimmed the thread of the latest batch of crap. Maybe one day, I should go back through the whole history of the thread and delete the pointless stuff, that would shave two or three volumes off for a start.

Urban Sports - You know what he meant by BR being Chelsea. He means "flashy, billy big balls", not the actual team.
Whoa hang on, I wasn't sure which way the comment went, I think you're being a bit picky, I don't post on here often but I do read it regularly and IMO it's a football thread, they attract a bit of banter, have you not been to a match before?

That's fine, US, I'm aware you're not on here much compared to others and you're not one of the thread's "issues". But your post reeked of having a silly dig at others re comparing BR to Chelsea. The level at which banter becomes personal abuse is much lower on here than any other thread because of how people fail to respect others opinions.

And yes, I've been to a match before. Actually will be going to my 50th game of the season next weekend so I've heard pretty much everything this season already.

Enjoy the game.

At 14.15 you posted 'I have an opinion of you..'

At 14.46 I replied to type-r that included my reference to BRs shiny new watch.

There was no direct or indirect childish name calling by me to you, anyone else on here or any players.

Good night GG. And Mart, once again apologies that my opinion results in you having to waste time on here.

Averaging less than £8m a player actually isn't bad in the EPL

Not really reflective of the fact that for the most part, we have been outside the CL so getting top talent at a reasonable price/wages has been very hard, however this season should have been a lot better transfer wise IMHO, but still think the summer signings will prove to be very useful additions given a bit of time. As ever, Striker was our major miss in the summer, rest of the team is very capable for the most part, just need someone to teach them how to defend!!

biggrin

3 points, nothing to worry about wink

In all seriousness though, the most disappointing reading on here is the Balotelli bashing.

He is such an easy and obvious target/scapegoat, I thought we were better than that?

I personally like single minded strikers and am convinced he will come good for us.

I am more concerned that we are not giving Lambert or Borini any game time, the perfect time to give them a chance with are #1 striker injured?

I would have liked to have seen some full 90 minute games for both of them in this period.

Oh well, nice easy midweek game to cheer us all up eh? biggrin

Moving on to Wed, ultimately, we do not need to win the games against RM, we can afford to get beaten and still qualify for the next round, assuming we win all or most of the other games. It would obviously be good if we gave a good performance and a defeat is a bit more palatable if we play well and give our all (which we don't seem to have done lately). Lets hope for a big European night at Anfield and I don't have to watch from behind the sofa.

Mario is an easy target but he just comes across sometimes as not caring, and I am sure that is not true, it's just the way he seems sometimes and his 'shot' just before half time summed that up. I am sure he is getting really frustrated as well and would have loved to score 2 goals instead of the OG's yesterday
