Didn't manage to follow the game tonight and only just caught up with the result... Mario comes on and scores an important equaliser? Lovren scores the 94th minute winner? You couldn't make this st up.

I switched off at 1-0 down as recent form suggests no way back. Good luck omen as we scored two.

Important result IMO as it should give a bit of confidence to the team and the two goal scorers. What is in no doubt is Mario needs to play alongside another striker and not solo, both this and the Hull game has proved that.

BeIn Sports is ace, I've never had American commentary, but Keys and Gray are often on there at the weekend.

At best this season is similar to BRs first season. A lot of sideways passing, very little genuine goalscoring opportunities created and most worryingly, anybody and everybody that turns up at Anfield, fancy their chances of scoring.

Pleased we got 2 late goals, but the way we're playing, at some point this has to be expected the norm rather than a blip. Everyone of our defenders are fit bar Flanagan. Everyone of our midfielders and attackers are fit bar Sturridge.

As for Markovic. I get that he's new but ffs he cost 20 million. I'd have expected him to at least have shown something.

Laser was truly crap last night and most other games I have seen, a shocking waste of £20m we could have used to better effect.
Bren got out of jail last night, granted he played 2 strikers but Lambo hasn't clicked yet so Bor n Bal should have started.
Borini never stopped running but was like a puppy in a dogs home too eager to shoot and please - geeing up the crowd at corners!!! He deserves more pitch time.
Bet we get Chelsea in the draw !!

My problem with Markovic is that when players come here and they are having a bad time of it you can normally at least see some signs of hope. (Crouch's linkup play, Hendersons engine etc)

With Markovic it is like we were sold this incredibly pacy, confident and skillfull wonderkid and then they did a switch on the plane for some other long haired fellow. He just isn't showing anything at all he doesnt even look that quick.

Can't say I am not a little miffed at another bad decision going our way. And where did Mr Stroud get 6 minutes of injury time from?!

15 fouls by Liverpool and 1 yellow; 11 fouls by us, 3 yellows and a red...nice to see Balotelli try and get Shelvey sent off with a fake head-butt as well - what a tosser.

Anyway, overall a tight win by either side would have been a fair result based on the actual football.

I think you can be rightly miffed at the result last night. Definitely not a red card and I agree, not sure where 6 minutes of injury time was. I think Swansea at the very least deserved to get a replay.

Seemed fateful that Fernandez had Lovren in his pocket at every set piece last night...

I thought if anyone was going to be sent off it would either be Taylor or Borini - or Shelvey/Balo after he came on.

Yes very similar feel to the first season, but the second half off that season we were good, and the seeds were sown for the following year.

Hopefully that is the case and we aren't too far off the top 4 when the side gels, IF that happens!

flanno at full back might help a little as his work rate is excellent and it might rub off on a few other players and up the tempo.

Laser is looking like a poor buy, why did Chelsea not buy him when they could have for 1/2 the price if he is so good?

As others have said at least most players give you something to hold your hat on, so far he produced very little

Wingers are a notoriously fickle bunch, very little in between with them. Brilliant or.....I'd give him time yet, he is relatively young (I know he was expensive) give him a chance to steady up and get the head down. As for Balo, my mind changes on him every day. Today I actually believe he can be a success, just needs help upfront and some time for the rest to realise his strengths.
