It's clear to most that we've bought horrendously. Increasingly it's becoming apparent that this manager is clueless. I'm not sure what it will take to sack him. If you can't motivate the players, if they're on the pitch and don't seem to believe in the tactics, if you keep making the same mistakes game after game after game. At some point the manager has to be held responsible.
I wouldn't advocate sacking anyone mid season unless there was a major crisis - for a club like us that would be hovering around relegation.

If it's like this all season then he has to take responsibility and all options would be open. Today is as poor as QPR/ West Ham.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Sorry.

What I want to know is this - 3 subs on the bench, including Lallana, yet only use 2 subs, leaving Balo on the pitch and not bringing on anyone who might be able to make a difference. Shortsightedness?

Should have started with 2 up top.
Whenever we start with 1 up top again I won't be watching.
Don't know what game Rodgers is playing at but he's made a st start to my weekend.

He's been found out and is now setting up the team to kill time from the kick off. His entire tactics are based on nicking a goal and hoping the opposition miss the chances that they will definitely create against our defence.

10 league games in and there is no one that can claim we've played well in 9 of these. No doubt he'll blame Balotelli when he gets booted out.

We ended the game with three "strikers" on the pitch and Gerrard, Sterling and Henderson. Not sure if Lallana would have made that much difference.

Very worrying, players look deflated & lack any drive or passion. Nothing going on up front at all, going to be a long season at this rate. Our defence looks appalling, time for Rogers to start making things happen as if we slide like this for much longer it will be unfixable. Sad to say I really think the Ballotelli attitude is rubbing off on the team, and Johnson needs putting down, awful performance again.

When is Flanno fit again?

Very disappointed in Henders today - thought he'd be more up for the match given the opponents!

I am far from agreeing with RT, But I have to say that was the worst I have seen us play for a long time and I am starting to lose faith in BR.

When will he realise Balo is a total waste of space and shouldn't even be on the coach, 1 fricking touch in the box.

I will never stop supporting LFC but I am embarrassed to do so at the moment.

No direction, no guile, woeful passing, sluggish pace.

As someone else mentioned, what are they doing in training??

As the commentators picked up on, at one stage he was out on the left swinging a ball in for our LB on the penalty spot to try and volley. Completely backwards.

Sterling looked awfully tired. Fair play to BT Sports though they got some lovely close ups of Brendan's shiny new watch.

Happy to see him stick with Balo, just wish Borini was upfront with him. 3-0 win today. Goals for Balo, Borini and a Stevie G spotter.

Biggest worry for me is our style has gone. No slick passing, no movement across the front players & no clever through balls or attacking pace. So many times we just lumped it 40/50 yards or put in half hearted crosses as we have no options. Never looked like getting in behind them either, every time we broke the player with the ball had nothing in front of him to aim for, so kept on turning back or having to hold the ball up.

Depressing, but it looks fixable if we can sort the striker problem out, starting with one upfront kills our game totally.

Bren just said they don't have enough time for coaching with the CL games - excuse number 73 from the under achieving managers book.
By sticking with Balo it defers a lot of stick from him - clever Bren hey?

Brendan Rodgers on Tottenham last season: "When you spend £100million, you should be winning the league."

Give him time mate, he's only spent £215M in his short time at Liverpool so far.
