Fantastic spectacle tonight. I feel terrible for Atletico they have a fantastic team, manager and supporters and they really deserve to take the title I feel. Especially in the face of the corrupt financial doping that exists in la liga courtesy of Real and Barca.

He was taken to hospital after the match and it transpires his cheekbone is shattered and his skull has multiple fractures. Been put in a medically induced coma whilst they carry out emergency surgery.
