Goes with the territory. UEFA & FIFA suits are one of the select few who are aware of he legendary meals between breakfast and brunch & between brunch and lunch.

Dunno about Terry, but apparently it was the Spuds winning their 10th Big Cup and not some Spanish folk rolleyes.

Copied from BBC website

'Carlo Ancelotti has now won three Champions League titles, a Serie A title, a Coppa Italia, a Premier League, an FA Cup, a French League, a Copa del Rey and a Club World Cup.
And a Charity Shield. Decent.'

Financially. In Spain the TV deal is carved up to heavily favour Barca & Real. I think Real get 140m and Atletico 40m. Then you look at turnover, sponsorship etc, etc. What Atletico have achieved this season is remarkable.

Did we get to see what Simione did at the end there ?

Seems the tv people have let it go without saying anything.

Varane kicked the ball towards him then he kicked it back and ran onto the pitch to confront him.

So Stelling reckons this game disproves players are overpaid? I didn't mind the guy before but he's p****d on my chips indefinitely for that statement (not that he'll care of course).

Yes it's absolutely fine to continue paying ridiculous amounts of money to individuals for kicking a bag of air around, all the while s*****g on the fans and charging them even more for the privilege.

Carry on.

So Spain or a Spanish side now hold the World Cup, the European Championship, the Champions League and the Europa League.

Costa should have never played. What a muppet, he ruined it for the whole team.

Wonder boy does it again on the biggest stage of all

Bloody good luck to him
Wonder boy ?? Ronaldo yes, Bale no.

Not a decent ball in 111 min. of football....

Yes he can run and in games in which he can exploid that it's a decent player, but other than that....

Not even worth half of the 100 million that Madrid paid.

They both had a shockingly bad game and were largely ineffective. Bale messed up 3 very good chances and Ronaldo was nowhere in the game. Obviously some of that was down to the Athletico strategy to neutralise them.

What did Simeone do? I missed the game unfortunately, but what Atletico have done this season is amazing. I really wanted them to win tonight. When I saw they conceded so late... poor bds. frown

Edit: Just seen it and it's not that bad all things considered. Wish Atletico won but they still have far far more to be proud of than Real Madrid this season IMO.

I'd say Ronaldo was nowhere near 100% wasn't in the game at all !! Bale created lots chances and lets not forget scored the games by far and away most important goal, ineffective ?? Hmmmmm... Typical though it's Ronnie gets all the limelight.

Yeah because Ramos' goal was nowhere near as important.

The 2 biggest names on the pitch were anonymous for the 90 mins and only came alive in extra time...
Ronald's only got into the game mid second half while Bale had a couple chances that should have had better results...
Think it was harsh on Atletico but they seemed to employ "Mourinho" tactics near the end by putting 10 men behind the Ball and Real started to threaten...
They tried to hold out, nothing wrong with that, but should have played their own game which was keeping them on top throughout...
Casillas was very Amateur by his standards and experience in conceding the Goal and Ramos was again a driving force by playing further forward towards the end...
Can only credit Real for plugging away and I sensed if they got a goal then Atletico would collapse...
There was 5 mins injury time on the board and Ramos scored in the 93rd, injury time was only due to the Atletico players rolling around like dying flies and wasting time...
Serves them right, shoulda stuck to their own game...
