I think with their performances over the campaign and with the managers they've got coming in at their clubs, I think Rooney, Hart and Stirling have signed their own transfer requests. Can't see any of them staying where they are, especially Hart. A few other players, Kane for one, will have seen their percieved value fall though the floor too.

I'm not saying they're the answer - but look at what Steve Bruce has achieved at Hull
Spent £40 million and got relegated? mattyn1 said:
I said it four years ago and I will say it again. And I expect a torrent of abuse but.......
We need Beckham in that managerial set up. Like Shearer he cannot do any worse. He dragged us through many games with passion and commitment.
The only thing he's managed is a bloody marketing company. Give over.We need Beckham in that managerial set up. Like Shearer he cannot do any worse. He dragged us through many games with passion and commitment.

Why would Beckham want to risk his highly popular profile to get involved with a no win situation. he doesn't need the wages .We need Beckham in that managerial set up. Like Shearer he cannot do any worse. He dragged us through many games with passion and commitment.
Do we really need a full time England Manager anyway ?

Bruce is the epitome of a second rate British manager who gets jobs because "he's a proper football man" or "isn't afraid to show a bit of passion on the touchline". See also Redknapp, Sherwood, Allardyce, Pardew, Phil Brown etc
Aside from Sherwood and even Redknapp, all those have archived relative success with little money or talent at their disposal. All we need is someone to spend 5 minutes picking a squad, and then let them get on with it. No need for a manager at all, save some money and the end results will be the same either way.
Could even just knock up a quick website where anyone can suggest a person for each position, and just go for the person with the most votes.
