Maybe my comments are out of hope for the country I love who deserves a golden era. I know I was the first one to jump to Pearsons defence when my club had a sticky patch and I know with the right man it can work out. I suppose I just would like everyone for once, to rally round him, sure question him, but lets give the guy the Euros, changing now would help no one.
The FA won't fire him and he won't resign. Best cross our fingers and hope that he can at least pick the kids regularly.Ayahuasca said:

that we played more attacking football than I have seen England play in the last 10 years?
And that failed to beat Ecuador.....or Honduras......or Italy.......or Uruguay.... or Costa Rica.If that is our 'attacking football' I would hate to see our 'crap football'.

Attacking football at its absolute best
Just seen Jimmy Anderson's tears at the end of the cricket match. He'd held out with Mooen Ali for nearly an hour and a half but was caught out on the penultimate ball, meaning England lost the Test and the series.
It was obvious he felt terrible and at the post match interview, he cried. Wish some of our footballers would show that sort of emotion instead of coming out with the usual "We know we've let everyone down blah blah; hope we get the opportunity to put it right blah blah..."

Only saw about 30 minutes of the game but thought Luke Shaw looked good. What did everyone else reckon?
Much better defensively and looked pretty solid...but, the number of sloppy/lazy/careless passes was frightening. I'm not talking about giving the ball away, but those passes that aren't played in front of a player to move on to (causing the player to go back and get it) or rather than pass across the floor it is bobbled to them so they have to control it before doing something with it.Just to note, I thought a lot of the back 4 were guilty of this.

Difficult to gauge the back four against a team that didn't show any ambition though.
