There is of course the possibility that the over hyped players, in a relatively mediocre league aren't as good as the press make them out to be ??

When we won the world cup, we had 3 world class players, Bobby Charlton, Moore & Banks, who would have been in a planet Earth 1st 11 to play a team of aliens. Now we have none. You won't win tournaments without world class players. Fitness and a bulldog spirit will only get you so far. But eventually you run out of talent.

Rooney is our best player and he wouldn't get into a world top 50. The goalie isn't bad either. The rest are no more than half decent footballers.

As a striker I would have Kane and Sturridge ahead of Rooney.

The issue is who could you pick now?? Kane had an amazing season last year, but hasn't scored as yet. Sturridge just cannot get fit. For me Rooney is the default choice at the moment.

Anyone know when tickets will be released for the Spain game on the 13th November? I'm over there at that time anyway so thought it would be worth the effort to get to the game.

I read yesterday that they've moved the game from Madrid to some 30,000 seat stadium. Might want to double check the where's and when's.

Yeah it's been moved to Alicante which is where I'm going to be.

Apparently it's subject to Spain not been involved in a playoff so I doubt tickets will be released for ages.
