The Official England Thread-The Team We All Support [Vol 2]
Discussion
We played against a packed wales defense for 120 mins and scored 2 goals, when we had the right team on.
So we can do it.
Slovakia game does not count as he dropped Rooney, who had looked very good, and brought in 2 non fit/out of form midfielders.
So, we can do it, as long as the Woy factor doesn't come into play.
(i support liverpool and cant stand utd......but Roony looked good as pkaybmaker and henderson is absolutely awful)

I'm a Liverpool fan also and Rooney would be the first name on my teamsheet he has bossed the middle when he has played. So we can do it.

England players have tried no less hard than those Irish or Welsh players.
The patronising attitude and cod romanticism about the other home nations is embarrassing. They have limited players but are well-organised and defensively sound. Nothing to get excited about. Nothing heroic about playing reasonably well over 3 games.

Better than the usual English displays both on and off the pitch.
Gutted when Wales didn't pull off a win
I'll happily celebrate my team, pulled from a population of 1.8 million people making it to the last 16...
We're not going to win, but we never said we would!
Just having a great time!

Poor old Sterling. BBC have just shown a clip of the team training and one clip was Sterling running into another player and losing the ball.
Explains why he's so good at doing it if that's what he spends his time practicing.Maybe the coaches ought to focus on crossing the ball and shooting
