I think that's reasonably likely.

I think England will probably win, but I wouldn't put money on them at odds on, that's for sure.

If the Raheem the Terrible plays, I expect England to lose.

7-0 at 325/1. Worth a quid.

But realistically going for 2-0.

You guys must have seen a different England side from the one I have seen! I don't think they are capable of scoring more than 2 goals against anyone.

Joe Hart had to wear/carry/look after the club mascot lion on his back when they were seen looking at the pitch yesterday.
Its a 'light hearted' punishment for the player performing worst in training. John Stones was wearing it last week.

Hopefully he hasn't dropped it yet.

Perhaps Roy needs to drop Hart for this game, give him some competition for his place?

Well he can kick that straight into touch.

He's certainly rolling the dice if he's picking Sterling over Lallana. That's a very bold move based on form so far this tournament!

I'm looking forward to a nervy display, a few missed 'sitters', some howlers in defence, and scrappy single goal that sees us through against a nation of <350k.

France can then put us to the sword in a symbolic demonstration of European cohesion.

If Sterling is the answer, I'll be buggered if I know what the question is.

I've stuck up for Hodgson so far, but playing Sterling makes zero sense; he's been simply terrible so far.

Is Sterling going to play a blinder and prove us all wrong? I actually really hope he does, but I doubt it :-/

To be fair, Roy can afford to give him 45 minutes to assess what psychological damage he's suffered from all of the negativity surrounding him - it is only Iceland after all. He'll be pulled long before we get to penalties if that's to be the outcome.

Maybe Sterling watched the Germans yesterday, Draxler in particular, and got some ideas of how to go past a defender (with the ball) and create a chance.
