WalesSo, first home World Cup qualifier- 8th October England v Malta, how about an attendance prediction? About 20,000 would put out a message to the FA that maybe some 'root and branch' changes are needed to placate our long suffering fans. Imagine, all those empty seats in a Wembley, with the build debt still being paid for.
The players are much fitter these days, the pitches are better & so is the equipment & of course the over protection of referee's .
Ronaldo & Messi are indeed great players but they know defenders can't touch them
Pele, Maradonna, Cruyff ( not mentioned at all ) all had to suffer ridiculous tackles from behind in a game far more physical than today's.
I wouldn't put Ronaldo in my top 5 but i wouldn't have Gascoigne far behind him though.

These boys were proper players that had to look after themselves .

Winter break doesn't seem to matter.
Not enough English (home country) talent playing in the Prem
English academies aren't developing players properly
How about we actually just get a manager/coach to pick a formation and way of playing and play the best player in their natural position and see what happens huh?
