We need to give the team a bit of leeway though, to be fair to them. They have just come back from a brilliant performance at the euros, so expectation was always going to be high. They have just lost a well respected powerhouse of a manager and replaced him with a young, dynamic manager who has to make his mark on this well established team of class players who are used to playing under a steadfast class act. They didn't have their top world class striker available from the start of the game to control it all with pinpoint accuracy and to show the younger players how to play with 110% effort at all times. Then they have to play one of the best teams in the world. An exciting 0-0 draw isn't a bad result all in all.

I meant in terms of proven goal scorer, experience etc. IMHO Rashford brings mainly youthful exuberance but that isn't what we need to unlock this game.

Enduring the 2nd half, realised why I didn't watch the Malta game or the first half. I have lost all interest in watching International footy now.

Just an annoying and unnecessary break in the Premier league for me!
