hearer, Sheringham, Seaman, Scholes... etc. but go on then I'm stumped, What trophy is this?
I looked it up having been corrected.A 4 team (France, Italy, Brazil and England) pre-98 World Cup warm up.
That era of England team should probably have won more proper trophies...
Goalkeepers: Fraser Forster (Southampton), Joe Hart (Torino, on loan from Man City), Tom Heaton (Burnley).
Defenders: Ryan Bertrand (Southampton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Nathaniel Clyne (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Man Utd), Michael Keane (Burnley), Luke Shaw (Man Utd), Chris Smalling (Man Utd), John Stones (Man City), Kyle Walker (Tottenham).
Midfielders: Dele Alli (Tottenham), Michail Antonio (West Ham), Ross Barkley (Everton), Eric Dier (Tottenham), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), Jesse Lingard (Man Utd), Jake Livermore (West Brom), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal), Nathan Redmond (Southampton), Raheem Sterling (Man City), James Ward-Prowse (Southampton).
Strikers: Jermain Defoe (Sunderland), Marcus Rashford (Man Utd), Jamie Vardy (Leicester).
Not an impressive squad of players.

I dunno, there's mediocracy in depth there.
Not an impressive squad of players.

I see these comments every time a team sheet gets published. What are the alternatives? Just asking as I have no idea.
I'm not saying it's wrong, just average. He only has mediocrity to choose from. There are no world class English players currently. When we won the world cup we had 3. Most of the time since then we've had none, occasionally 1. TwigtheWonderkid said:
