as you cant be arsed to click "England supporters booed the German national anthem and sung chants referencing World War Two."
So no racist chanting? No inciting religious violence? Just some booing and forgetting not to mention the War. Against Germany. Wow.
Did they also hum the Dambusters tune?
I guarantee you'll hear worse at every single League One & Two match on Saturday.
Maybe the FA should stop scheduling friendlies with Germany if it is such an issue?
Without getting into the whole "Well WHAT do you consider racist then?" conversation, I wouldn't have thought the average German fan would have been remotely bothered by that song. My impression has always been that the majority of them find our attempts to wind them up bemusing, especially given the amount of times they have made us look like idiots on the pitch.
Let's face it, that song isn't anywhere near a horrible as the opposition hissing at Spurs fans? And if you really wanted to hear some properly offensive chants, try going to an Aldershot v Woking game like I did as a neutral a few years ago.
To me, this sounds like an attempt to "sex up" the story of what was a pretty dull game and the lack of drama in the team following Southgates new 'zen' approach. Let's face it, papers have to be sold and clicks have to be baited.

England V Lithuania. Ok, we're 1-0 up after half an hour, but are playing like we've already won it. Too casual, not enough respect for the opposition - who'll probably grab one back while we play like it's a bloody friendly.
Lithuania look st to me, which means that we will probably lose to them.Which will be disappointing after the false dawn of only losing 1-0 to Germany.
I can't say i watch that much international football; is the stadium always half empty when England play qualifying matches? Has attendance declined? Or is there some weird ticketing arrangement in place?
So far this year I've been to:
1. The Masters snooker; and
2. The Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Both were absolutely rammed by comparison. In fact, both were absolutely rammed outright...
Decent attempt by Oxcart Chambermaid as i type this.

This is my beef with Wemberley. In a spectacular failure of stadium design and planning they have put the prawn sandwich brigade directly opposite the cameras. Thus they all disappear for a corporate munch at half time and shamefully don't bother returning until they can be arsed, if ever.
