Suarez promises not to bite any more

It seems that Suarez has 'talked to specialists about his behaviour' and promises 'no further biting incidents':

If we are to take this as an admission that he HAS bitten people, then we must also assume that his earlier denial was a lie:

Which presumably means we can't believe a bleeding word he says.
Rather annoying that he was prepared to let his earlier lie develop into a near-international incident, and also to let Uruguay manager look a fool (to the point where he felt obliged to resign his FIFA position).
At the risk of generalising, footballers seem to be uniquely lacking in moral scruple.
