Not to mention a dodgy red for Vidal and no red for Casomera (sp) who deserved a few reds. Ronaldo shouldn't have got near that 100 goals, if the ref had done what he is paid to do.

I'm sure the ref was paid to do what he did.

Horrific reffing. A red card that wasn't, plus two offside goals. The power of a big home crowd putting intense pressure on the ref.

RM made history and became the first team ever in 60+ years of the CL / EC to reach 7 straight semifinals. Shows how strong Spanish football is and how far ahead of English, Germany and Italian clubs they are.

First goal was a great header! Second was well off, but a good finish all the same and the Bayern players didn't even appeal. Third goal was marginal. Not a pen for me on Robben either. Although Vidal's red card was ridiculous. All in all a shocking evening for the officials.

BT highlighted a hint of offside in the build up to Ramos OG too? I didn't see it though, I wasn't concentrating?

Amazing how technology hasn't been introduced yet.

No, it just shows how strong Real Madrid are. The 3rd best team in Spain could only beat Leicester (11th!) 2-1 over 2 legs and the 4th best Spanish team lost to them...and Barca are currently being dicked by the Italian Champions.

RM are no more representative of Spanish football, than Celtic are of Scottish football.

Don't fool yourself in thinking the premiership is 'the best league in the world' (because of all the great foreigners coming into the league).

Define "best"?

Maybe don't fool yourself in thinking the La Liga is 'the best league in the world' just because they've got 2 of the richest (state-sponsored) clubs in the world.

Just watched the highlights - incredible officiating really. The ref was either corrupt or just useless at his job - either way he deserves to be sacked or demoted.

First goal was all about his physical power. Second goal should not have stood. Third goal no issues with that, tiny margin that made no difference as to whether he'd score or not.
The man is a goal scoring machine, incredible record.

Wow. What a player. At 32 to do what he's done in the last three CL games is incredible.

Cristiano gets goals when they are needed. He steps up in big games. He has scored 50+ goals in the CL knockout stages which is just crazy stats! Genius.

I'd like to see the figures excluding headers - I suspect Greaves would still top that list by miles.

As a scouser it pains me to say it but he is the best player I have seen live "in the stadium" by a mile.
