I'd rather be a liar and a tool in the eyes of a bigoted fool, than a bigoted fool.

You seriously think someone saying "I don't like estate agents" is the same as saying they don't like Jews, black people, Asians etc??

You're a complete tool. And a liar to boot.

I seriously think that it is exactly the same mind set. Once you start grouping one set of people together for dislike, it's easier to escalate to other groups.

I'll give you an example of my own experience. Back in the 80's I used to ride motorbikes, and back in the day there was plenty of prejudice against bikers (maybe there still is, I don't know). Now, one day when going into a pub with my girlfriend looking for a bite to eat, we were point blank refused to be served and asked to leave as "we don't serve people like you in here". That kind of experience wakes you up in some small way to just what full on racism must feel like.

I think you're spot on here, but changing his post could have got him in a lot of trouble, and wasn't a good move imo.

Bigotry is crap, just not as crap as racism :-/.

Businesses are quite entitled not to serve bikers, if they've had poor experiences with them before. No law against that. Just go somewhere else. I used to be in a biker group and we had various places we weren't welcome. But we also had selected cafes and pubs dotted around that welcomed us, and it was good business for them.

Businesses are not allowed to say "no black bikers" whilst serving white bikers. Why do you think that is? Could it be that the 2 things are nothing like each other.

You complete tool.

Fair enough, I see your point. I could have done it better, probably by adding in the "edited for accuracy" phrase. Hey ho, nobody died.

Edited to say.
There you go. Done.

I would imagine that they didn't want to serve you because you are an aggressive nob end.

He'd probably replace my pistol with a black pudding or something, and then argue it was the same thing.

Doesn't remember anything between getting in the taxi and waking up at the Premier Inn but remembers not consenting to sexual intercourse with Ched.
How does that work?

I haven't taken rohypnol but I would imagine it's a bit like that.

However I am not saying that is what happened nor that she is accusing anyone of that.

I think the new evidence and the reasons for its discovery will be really interesting.

Ched's lawyer seems to be asking questions regarding the girls previous relationships.
I'm following @rupertevelyn on Twitter who is tweeting what is happening in the court as it goes on.

Is there reporting restrictions this time, or are the media just not giving the trial much attention this time around?

As the prosecution are currently stating their evidence isn't all just repeated from the earlier trial?

She says she only used cocaine 3 times and the last weeks before the incident. I thought cocaine only stayed in the system for 2-3 days?

I read she sent a text message, but do they say what she sent?

It sounds as if they are suggesting she was out shagging before and after this incident.
