That must have taken a lot to admit, RT, you know, after sitting on the fence for so long. RT: Your preferences are obviously Rafa, Klopp and Simeone. Do you disagree with any of the following:
Rafa -
Never prioritised the league.
Rotated worse than BR - not that he didn't know his best XI, just that he steadfastly refused to play them week in, week out.
Always substituted on 60 minutes, same as BR.
Transfer record no better or worse than BR.
Alienated Alonoso by trying to replace him with Gareth Barry.
Couldn't take the pressure when we nearly won the league - same as BR (I'd argue BR handled it better in front of the cameras).
Often played players out of position (Gerrard on the right/left springs to mind).
Klopp -
Obviously a talented manager, but his record is quite up and down.
Currently lying two points off the bottom of the Bundesliga, with a worse points tally than LFC and in an arguably easier league.
Simeone -
Another obviously talented manager.
Never shown any indication to manager in the PL.
No real reason why he'd swap Atletico for LFC.

Klopp - In the last 4 years has won the league twice, 3 cups and got to the final of the Champs league. In a league that has Bayern Munich in. I'd say that's pretty good going.
Exactly and in a league where every year his best players get sold to there biggest competitor. If you could get Klopp you'd be seriously stupid not too, that said its a pretty open secret that he wants the Arsenal job.

Yep can also see him going there - couple more losses for AW and he will be under huge pressure too If you could get Klopp you'd be seriously stupid not too, that said its a pretty open secret that he wants the Arsenal job.
His record for Dortmund has been superb until this year - shame if he has just lost interest as they really are a superb club and there fans dont deserve that. Even if that is the case you would question the players too.

Is this the place to start a "Wenger for Liverpool" rumour? He ticks the "won something" box, maybe he's up for a new challenge. Liverpool can't spend money, Wenger WON'T spend money, sounds like a good match. Do you sell coats with zips that don't do up properly? If so, I'd say he was a shoe-in.

I've said before, and you have every right to hold a different opinion, that it was Suarez who was much more responsible for last season than Bodge. If Bodge had done his job we wouldn't have conceded so many goals.
As for why I can't stand him, because I think he is a fraud, making it up as he is going along at best. The bks that comes out of his mouth, his 3 envelopes, his weak leadership and his closeness with some players all factor in too. Probably what I dislike off pitch the most is the lifestyle he represents. If he was successful he'd get away with it, but he isn't.
All of that is before his complete tactical ineptness on the football pitch. Last season was the blip. This is the real Brendan Rodgers. Weak defence, sideways passing midfield and a front line of strikers that are 75% low table turd.
He's had his moment in the sun. Last season was the pinnacle of his career. Get rid of him and give someone the rest of this season to rebuild and push on from there. Rafa, Klopp or Simone have forgotten more than Bodge has ever known or ever will know.

As for what I think of them.
Rafa lost the plot in the end BUT he had very little to spend imo and had owners working against him. With Paco being a decent counter weight I'd have him back immediately. He had us ranked as the best team in Europe. You can't take that away from him. As for Gerrard on the right, go and look at the stats. It wasn't ideal to play him there but it was effective. Rafa's transfer record was better. Sure a lot more low fee gambles but he had to. Reina, Arbeloa, Johnson(pre crap) Mascherano, Alonso, Garcia, Torres, Kuyt, Lucas, Maxi, Agger, Skrtel
You cannot criticise Klopp. Look at what he's achieved whilst being at a feeder club. He is exactly the sort of manager we need. We know we can't compete with the richer teams so we need a manager that can win things inspite of not having the ability to outbid the more wealthy teams.
Simeone, as I say is a pipe dream.

I only want Wenger if he brings his baby elephant. Do you sell coats with zips that don't do up properly? If so, I'd say he was a shoe-in.

Remember we have to pay off Bren, Pascoe, Marsh and the Achterberg if we want a change and that will probably tip us over the FFP limit and a potential Euro ban, now as we have no hope of qualifying for Europe maybe that's not an issue unless it carries forward ?
I really don't think that FFP is an issue that is insurmountable.Remember how long they took to appoint BR and the way they handled Kenny's extension - I really cant see them acting swiftly and decisively.
Plus they may well not be quite as disappointed as most of the fans are.

I would hope FSG lawyers have clauses in there which say no CL qualification = far reduced (say one year) redundancy payment ?desolate said:

Believe me I "know" how much they are investing in making LFC an international destination, they have hotel plans as well as the hugely expanded commercial side and do you think we are still "as" attractive to the overseas and business "fans" as mid table mediocrity? How crap would it be to build a bloody big stand and not sell out - unthinkable.
FSG will be shocked and appalled in equal measure, I doubt they have a plan B as our demise has been so quick and its come from nowhere - they will be playing catch up.
