Good grief. Doesn't speak well of our summer signings for a must-win game, does it? At least Lambert is in....

What's up with Moreno, Manquillo, Lovren, Lallana, Markovic? Take it Sakho and Balotelli are still injured?

Has BWB fallen out with Lallana ? he's got to be a better option than Allen against a team you should be beating at home surely.

All the new signings he made & he's only playing one, does seem strange.

Oh well he must know what he's doing .

I'm very surprised that llallana isn't playing, he has looked good every time he's been on the pitch, plus he is much stronger than Coutinho which may be important against a physical Stoke side.

Big Watch Bodge is an idiot. His blind support for his boy Allen is an embarrassment. What is the point of buying 2 new centre backs, 2 new full backs, 1 new central midfielder, 1 new attacking midfielder and a so called superstar winger and we find not one of these in the starting line up?

At the very least, at home to Stoke, we should see Lallana in the starting line up and one of the new fullbacks.

Tbh I get the exclusion on Lallana for Allen! We need to nick a win, be solid! Henderson. Allen Lucas will offer protection ! If he was gonna fit him In would be for couthinho for me

They just announced a Black Friday sale - 50% off the bench, 25% off the first team, 100% off the goalie

True

We could do with Wilfried Bony at the moment.

Of course none of them have played this season... rolleyes

Been a poor game so far. We need someone like Lallana in the midfield. Seems to be a much more defensive setup today.

Well we never look like scoring so I don't mind a more defensive set up to stop us conceding.

This is the worst Liverpool team in living memory.
You're there for the taking today if we show some ambition.
Unfortunately we appear to be happy with a point so far

I think so. I see what position we are actually in right now.
We have attacking midfielders who are probably worth £10-£15m each. Can't score goals.
We have no strikers who can put them in.

Chelsea didn't win the league last season purely because they didn't have a striker. They gave it a good job though and that is them having 3 or 4 attacking midfielders who are worth £25m+ each, much better class than ours.

Difference between £5m players and £15m players isn't much but there is a gulf in quality between £15m and £25m. That is comparing Sterling to Hazard. Coutinho to Oscar. Lambert to Willian.

I don't know what we are expecting of our current squad but the harsh reality is they aren't capable of much without the likes of absolute class players like Sturridge and Suarez.

Mediocrity.

I guarantee Rafa would get more out of this squad. Not one shot on target at home against Stoke is inexcusable.

We look more open this half. So much space for them to attack.
