Fair enough but to sayhttp://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/foot...
“Six or seven months ago I was the manager of the year and I was going to be this and that, tactically this and tactically that, because we lost two world-class players, one out of the club and one injured, I am useless.
He is being called useless because he didn't replace them - not the same thing.

Unfortunately there's too many bellends who want instant results in this day and age. Cocks each and every last one of them. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/foot...
They wouldn't know the meaning of the word support if it smacked them in the face. I personally wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

The main bit in that article for me was this:

Players used to come into Liverpool and you wouldn’t have heard of them, they would be given time to develop, six months or a year or two years.
Modern players because of the media and everything and social media, they don’t get that time.
They come in and are expected to be unbelievable straight away. And young players.
Look at Lamela at Spurs, he's obviously a talented guy but looked like a complete waste of money last year and is only now being to show a bit of consistent form. Easily comparable with Markovic.Modern players because of the media and everything and social media, they don’t get that time.

Miraculous recovery. I expected him to be out for longer. What happened? Was he set on fire and put out with a shovel?
Have I missed something here? jammy_basturd said:

To be fair though, Jammy, he seems to make out that not giving players time is a habit peculiar to Liverpool and its fans, rather than a general thing. Like you say, Lamela at Spurs is another one and there are probably half a dozen similar cases. His mistake is appearing to claim its a Liverpool thing because of how big they are rather than a sad indictment of football nowadays. Brendan Rogers said:

Well I don't know he does - the main focus seemed to be what he thought of Arsene Wenger being slagged off (ie he thought it was really unfair etc etc). Was only then he went on to talk about his own position. Flip Martian said:
