Not bring on a striker who is quite obviously out of favour, forcing a reshuffle which puts your best chance of a goal in defence. Page 1 of the coaching manual.
But barring all these tactical panics, his signings have been st and will ultimately bring the sword down on him
So we need a goal and he brings a striker on and gets critcised, because the TC didn't replace Suarez. But barring all these tactical panics, his signings have been st and will ultimately bring the sword down on him
I am by no means saying he is perfect but with the players he has available I think he is doing ok.

Martin fking Skrtel!!
Overall though I thought Skrtel was one of our worst players. Alongside Lucas - another very poor game from him.
I thought Lazar was one of our best players, along with Sterling. Though Jones again had a good game, not amazing but more confidence inspiring than Mignolet.

Haha. Had to think for a minute. Thought you meant total which I thought was a bit harsh!I am by no means saying he is perfect but with the players he has available I think he is doing ok.
Deserved point, going down to ten men with little time left I'd have taken that. Much improved in the effort stakes, closing down and working hard. Borini was silly, but that's down to trying too hard and trying to make an impression, I have some sympathy for him. God knows if we actually had a striker we might be dangerous enough.

Well that's the last time we see Borini in a red shirt, ever, I would think...
I doubt it. Borini will want to continue to protect the man and player he is today. Not happy with a draw after what was a dominant performance, most other teams in the league would have taken 5/6/7 or 8 of our 27 attempts at goal. We manage 2!
The blame doesn't lie fully with the manager, the chances are there so he must be doing something well, the finishing is fking woeful!
Conceding 2 goals from 2 shots on target isn't fking great either!
Good performance, crap result!

100% agree when we are able to actually put a decent striker on the pitch ( I dont count MB. RL or FB as such )Then I will judge us.
I think we played well today and showed alot of promise, I will also admit 100% our defence is pathetic and this is the big area we need to work on ( quite possibly BR needs to accept help on this )

I felt sorry for him too, he is a young lad and a talented player imo, god knows why he is so out of favour. It reminded me of when Henderson got sent off for a horror challenge last year, deserved to go off but you could see it in his face that it was not intentional.
I think watching Liverpool is bad for my health I feel all knotted up inside and my heart is pounding!
However, I will say that performance wise that looks like a corner turned? We finally look like we have goals in us going forward, and if Coutinho could shoot we would have won today.
Coutinho and Sterling are undroppable in this form, Coutinho especially looks like he has something to prove!
What a game ha ha!
