Whilst anything that goes wrong seems to be levelled at brendan that's not a fair statement. Its really got nothing to do with bad management and all to do with stupid player behaviour.
Unfortunately he was probably too fired up and eager to impress.

Yes agree Borini has been badly managed by an immature sulky manager or Bren has been told how to manage him by Ayre who may get exposed for his hand in the decline should Bren write a book

What about the "Feed the Scousers" one? Pretty sure Arsenal fans gave that one a run out last night.

Source for that? No-one knows what goes on behind closed doors. For all we know, Borini might be a complete tt who trains badly, happy to pick up his wages and really isn't bothered about getting into the first team! Not saying he is - just saying that we don't know. For all we know, BR could be perfectly justified in leaving him out...

Borini showed how much a game meant to him, I "think" he wants a chance to prove himself but doesn't get it or gets crumbs. I don't think its Bren I genuinely think Bren is to a large degree macro managed from above and even above Ayre. The one good thing is this style has gone to st and will hopefully be revised asap.

Am I right in saying that most supporters have latched on to this though?
Pretty certain I heard his "song" being chanted down in a league 2 game.....

Morning. So who genuinely thinks we will make top 4? That is quite some statement from the manager. If anything, it adds to the pressure of the team as a whole.
I don't think we will but I will be happy if BR proves me wrong...although after this seasons performance in the CL I wonder if its worth going through the same disappointment again because I was over the moon to get CL football again...just a shame BR couldn't get excited about the competition though.

He really did didn't he? As bizarre as it sounds, he went up in my estimation yesterday rather down. I really felt sorry for him and do believe that something is very wrong with how he's been managed/treated this season.

We have had Sturridge out pretty much all season, this really should have been a time to give him a decent run in the side.

I agree, I'd prefer to finish outside the top six and not get Europa footie again. If I was BR I'd genuinely go all out to win the Europa.

Don't think we'll get top four, but I do think we'll be greatly improved in the New Year and towards the end of the season and I think it'll be close. Especially if Arsenal and Utd don't start getting their act together either.

Speaks volumes that after 4 new centre backs and a season where Bodge dumped him because he didn't know how to spell his name to put in his envelopes, that this lad is our most consistent centre back.

His fault for the goal - he owed us that goal wink
My nan could have jumped higher than him for their goal.

Fixtures at the end / start of the year favour us.
Arsenal: West Ham / Southampton - away
Man United: Stoke / Spurs - away
Liverpool: Swansea / Leicester - home
Not bad.

I think he is intimating that Swansea/Leicester is an easier 2 games than say Stoke/Spuds or West Ham/Soton

Liverpool vs Leicester is a relly 6 pointer is it not?

Is it not the rather far fetched assumption that it'll in any way be relevent what the last few fixtures are as far as Liverpool are concerned that confuses Blackcanman?

Shouldn't the concern be more of Newcastle , Everton, Swansea & Stoke ?

Brendan thinks we can finish top 4.

What planet is he on?

Did he really say that Liverpool played better in this fixture than you did last season when the game was over after 15 minutes or so ?
