I'd reserve criticism for the thought process that the match on Sunday is more important than having a real go at winning that trophy.

I didn't see your team selection, only just got in from work when the pens were on.... Did you leave anyone out? Also heard that Sturridge limped off... Any news or thoughts on that?

Sakho, Henderson and Coutinho all injured/rested (plus Gerrard and Lucas already injured). So pretty weak middle of the park (Allen/Can)

I think Sturridge has limped off after every match I've watched recently!!

Utterly deflated after tonight's non performance. They did most things right in the first half, then got out thought and out played in the second. Most players were anonymous. The only bright spot was the first 4 pens but even then it never looked like we would win. Fair play they deserved it on the night. But however much Mignolet has recovered his form, he just doesn't inspire confidence on penalties. Not like Reina did, for example.

I have a desk job. I fill in forms. Occasionally, I make a mistake on the form, the equivalent of having your penalty saved. But never, I repeat never, have I missed the form completely and written on the desk! And they don't even pay me £80K a week.

That Lovren hey, bloody useless, paid too much, out of his depth etc etc right now he must be one of our worst ever big buys. Andy Carroll was a better defender.

What you on about? We're easily beaten by some Turkish no marks and fail again in Europe. We are also 6th in the league and need a result against the Champions just to keep touch with top 4. Its the full picture over the course of a season that is important.

WTF. Season falling apart .. Get a grip man.. We have several injuries.. We've had quite a few games the last 3 weeks .. we lose a game and suddenly it's all falling apart.. Look at the big picture rather than just constantly look for negativity, why is your glass always half empty????
