I expect the usual input from the usual posters over the last three pages. I've not read it, I know what it says just by scanning the names in the left hand column.
I find that by doing that I can just filter out certain people. If more people did that then certain people wouldn't have anyone to goad and bicker with.
What's your opinion ? I find that by doing that I can just filter out certain people. If more people did that then certain people wouldn't have anyone to goad and bicker with.

I agree with all of that if I'm honest. Apart from last season's blip we've been a mid table team.
The City game is huge for us. We have to get something, probably a win, to stay in contention for top 4 finish.
I have no understanding of why he picked a front 2 of Mario and Sturridge in an away game and lost control of the midfield. Or why he decided to introduce 2 new defenders in to the back 3.
I agree on the front 2, i would have started lallana to make a more solid midfield and add some creativity to the midfield. The City game is huge for us. We have to get something, probably a win, to stay in contention for top 4 finish.

and the wins end up coming too late in a season to get us where we need to be.
We are 3 points off 3rd? we were 10 behind UTD and are now 2 - and have to play them at home - what you are you on about to late?If he gets us 4th and wins a cup are you still going to be insisting he is a fake and needs to go ??
Why not just give him a chance - its obvious to all he fked up this season but he has rectified his errors and made us the team we expected to be.

I disagree that Rogers fked our season up (though he certainly played a part!), Rodgers didn't tear Sturridge's thigh muscle. You can't blame Rodgers for Sanchez's wife preferring London and Remy failing out stupidly stringent medical.
Sorry I meant start of the season - he was slow to correct problems we could all see - but he done that now and the difference in the team is for all to see - Since he figured out a formation that works for our players we are level on points with Chelsea - might mean nowt at the end of the season if we dont hit top 4 - but it means enough to me to know this group can challenge. Wanting to change him would be madness Season is definitely not falling apart. We didn't play well yesterday, certainly second half. I for one wanted to see the impact of Balotelli and Sturridge when played together. After last night, there is only room for one petulant child and it isn't Balotelli. I was really hoping those two would hit it off but after the penalty fiasco, doesn't look like the two quite see eye to eye.
If we get a draw on Sunday, I would be happy. Probably will fall off the pace a bit but after 120 mins, it would be a very good result, though given City's defeat mid-week, could even be a an opportunity to get the win.
I wanted BR out earlier on in the season however I have changed my mind. He has managed to get the Reds playing good football again and patched the defence. He has a lot to learn in Europe - so does Pelligrini by the looks of it - he has started to kerb his Brentisms which is good, the envelopes saga has been consigned to the dustbin of history, he needs to continue to develop a plan B and C - he has made progress this year but needs a couple more quality, experienced players to call upon. BR like Liverpool is a work in progress - not his fault for not signing Sanchez - could have been very different season if he had. Hopefully over the summer he sorts out his private life and his living arrangements as no doubt for me, that does affect decision making when you have things grinding in the back of your mind.

Sure it was disappointing last night, but hardly the end of the world is it? At the beginning of the season a lot of us (myself included) thought it would be a distraction. As always though the further you progress the smell of success gets that little bit stronger. Top 4 is obviously a must now, and I'm confident that we can achieve that going by how the last few weeks have picked up results wise.

NRS - so when we win we dont talk about the good things but when we lose its ok to rip everyone apart? not quite sure I agree.....
No, but when RT does (and has) posted positive things no one disagrees, so he only has one post. If he says something that people don't agree with then it becomes a discussion and so he posts lots more (since he tends to be the one posting negative stuff).Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
