Oh I have been told we have made our 1st signing - I know who it is but cant say anything else atm - personally I think he will be a very good signing for us.
Also I am finding out soon about what I have been told will be a 'stellar' signing and one that the rest of the prem will be shocked about ???? who it is I dont know yet

Just been skimming the beginning of this volume, it makes for hilarious reading. The usual suspects keyboard mashing is priceless and so far wide of the mark it's actually incredible.
Hey Mart, remember writing this one?

If BR does go, here's a suggestion for who takes over.
Quality manager, decent bloke, plays attractive football, well grounded in English football and (I think) would be popular with the fans. Only issue would be is that he's currently manager across the other side of Stanley Park.
Roberto Martinez.

Good old Mart - plays football far to slow for me - the fact that there best prospect since Rooney is now getting boo'd says it all for me - that lad would shine in our team but in theirs gets caught in possession as its so pedestrian http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/liverpool-2-m...

BR really rates Carvalho, so he's prepared to let a couple go to an interested club, that's all. Could be bks.
I dont think there is any secret he will shift a few on this summer - I would place a bet none of the 1st team leave though. It has to be true.

Easy with hindsight though, innit? A lot more people had the knives out for BR this season after the poor(ish) start to the campaign so I bet quite a few LFC fans would have taken RM like a shot after his work at Everton last season.
That said, he's had a mare this season for some reason so obviously BR looks a better bet.
Now I'm prepared for you to quote this back to me when you get relegated next season!!
It's not really hindsight though bruv.
We got 2nd last year under BR, lighting up the league in the process with our totes amazeballs play. Then we sold our best player around which the whole team ticked and rather than evolution, the transfer committee kind of went for revolution. Lots of new young faces with our shiny cash, who need a bit of time to bed in.
So, given the manager had already proven what he was capable of delivering, I'd say it's the two year olds mashing the keyboards after 10 games who were the ones displaying a certain lack of football intelligence, wouldn't you? Look at our form now. Proof really that if the signs of achievement and progress are there, in football you opt for stability and play the long game.
