If anyone has a spare £1 try it on Rafa to NUFC this summer, my £1 is bet.
You really think Rafa would go to a club like them?? BlackST said:
Paul Joyce - Liverpool will announce a first profit in seven years when their accounts are released on Monday.
Indeed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-31702585
Now I am no accountant but I can do basic sums. Not sure how you can make £0.9m profit whilst having £57m debts. Still good positive news after 7 years and looks like FSG is taking the club in the right direction!

Because you don't know the difference between your balance sheet (where you show your assets and debts) and your profit and loss, where you show revenus and costs. An increase in debt will add to the interest cost in your p&l but provide revenue exceeds costs = a profit.Shout if you have any questions

Thanks for Accountancy 101. Hicks and Gillette could have done with you! Shout if you have any questions
My question is this a better side than last year?
Not sure the attack is yet up to the dizzy heights but then i think that was a source of defensive trouble for us.
No question we are a harder team to beat and are defending at last like a top 4 side.
I think in away this side is more balanced that last season, and has more potential to evolve I really hope into something special.
Allen was outstanding at the weekend, I not been his biggest fan, but he finally did what i thought he could do, knitted defence and attack, feeding the attacking players with quick passes to get opposition defences on the back foot & high tempo pressing. he also gave a decent amount of protection to the defence.
the biggest question will be how DS fits back into this side?

For me that is easy. You simply move Sterling out (possibly replacing Lallana) and Sturridge resumes his striking role. For me, Sterling is simply not cut out to be an out-and-out striker and our attack always feels a bit blunt with him up front.the biggest question will be how DS fits back into this side?

I think that even if we finish top 4 that without silverware and that expected European run some will still label it a poor season.
I don't think so, getting top 4 and nothing else will be nirvana for us all as we are rebuilding and at the start of the season we had a glimpse of what being a Spurs fan must be like - not nice. What will be hard to stomach will be getting top 4 and Bren fks up Europe again because if he does whats the point ? (I don't expect to win the CL but getting past the group stages should be a given)

BR really rates Carvalho, so he's prepared to let a couple go to an interested club, that's all. Could be bks.
I dont think there is any secret he will shift a few on this summer - I would place a bet none of the 1st team leave though. It has to be true.
