The Official Liverpool FC Thread [Vol 9]
Discussion
A manager like Klopp doesn't come along every day. FSG will definitely be interested. BR will be worried. His Liverpool career rests on Sunday. Even then it may not be enough.
Brendan Rodgers needs Liverpool FC much much more than Liverpool FC needs him. If he fails here he'll never manage a club as big as ours.

No they aren't. No he won't. No it doesn't. Yes it will.Klopp hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season has he? If we change BR now we are back to square one & face another 3 seasons of "rebuilding" & "letting the team gel".... I think we have made decent progress under BR when you consider where we were before. The heart of the team got ripped out from under his feet at the start of the season, to be where we are says a lot. Ok we had a few mistakes tactically last year, as we have this year, but progress is being made.
The haters will hate & blame every problem on him, I think he is currently the right man for the job. However, this summers transfer window is absolutely crucial, I expecting to see a lot of players going & hopefully some real quality bought in.
If we can win the FA cup & finish well in the league then I think it's been a successful season given the problems we had at the start. Fourth would be nice but I think we will finish 5th.

Sure this will be RT now bemoaning FSG for not getting Klopp. Talented coach, that is for sure, but not had a great year, does that make him a bad coach nope. Just proves when you sell your best players ever the best managers struggle, maybe like us!Klopp hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season has he? FSG won't be getting rid of BR. They have their man, and know mistakes have happened in transfer department and will be working to address those. They also understand what BR is up against and that really one of the teams above need to slip up again next year to allow us to take a champions league spot. It was utd last year, hopefully city this year!
This summer as said above is critical, we must rebuild the attack.

OMFG I love Suarez! As much as he's a big baddy with his biting and other antics, he is my favourite player in the world

Suarez was immense last night, and to think people around here thought Bale was a better player
Well Bale did manage to score the winning goal in the final of the comp suarez was playing in last night as well as the one in the domestic cup final against Barca themselves. If suarez manages that then you may have a point. Also don't forget Bale is playing completely out of position and has to deal with the Ego of Ronaldo every game. I'm probably biased but id still take bale over suarez every day of the week.

Be pretty tough for him to score against Barca I'm probably biased but id still take bale over suarez every day of the week.
I think only Spurs fans would put Bale ahead of Suarez - sure a few none biased can comment but that's just my thinking - game of opinions of course

Agreed. It's plain to see who is the better player.I think only Spurs fans would put Bale ahead of Suarez - sure a few none biased can comment but that's just my thinking - game of opinions of course
I'd still have Bale though because Suarez is a monumental .
