I have supported Liverpool for 40 years and I don't think I have ever felt lower ( Except maybe 1/2 time in Istanbul ).
to all fellow fans ( Including RT ) sorry that this post is so pessimistic but that's how I feel right now.
At times like this, I find it helpful to remember...the Souness years.to all fellow fans ( Including RT ) sorry that this post is so pessimistic but that's how I feel right now.
Shockingly poor result tonight but totally expected.
But I think that could be the final nail in BR's coffin, unless we win all our remaining games.
I'm sure RT is overjoyed, while the rest of us are utterly dejected.

Serious question. Do you think the players are trying to get BR fired ?
If they're not then they've done a damned good job anyway imo. Results based business, F him asaic now.And F the players for having no balls/spirit/passion to play every game like it F'ing matters.
Because it does F'ing matter.
Suarez played like every game mattered

Got to feel for Lambert. Banged in goals for Southampton came to Liverpool and knew he would play second fiddle to Sturridge but he must look at Mario and think how the hell is he playing before me.

The worst thing about Mario is that he's not even delivering off field japes and on field madness to amuse us.
He has been stealing a living for a good few seasons now, and certainly off the performances in the World Cup for Italy. Strange that Liverpool bought him and offered him a 3yr deal. Wonder who would be stupid enough to take him now. Got to feel for Lambert. At the risk of sending Raja into a masturbatory spasm...
If we are going to have a wholesale clearout, which is what I keep reading rolling the dice with a new management team won't be as big a gamble.
If we are going to fanny around in the hope of finding a few bargain gems amongst the purchases may as well accept life being there or thereabouts with 'The Spurs'

I said this when we signed him only to be gunned down but I thought it was a crazy decision and it was just BR being his usual Jonny big potatoes thinking he could weave his so called magic on him...as RT so correctly puts it BR is just a fraud. cerb4.5lee said:

I really don't think that was BR's shout. With responsibility comes accountability - it's known that the 'committee' is responsible for signings so that gives him an out.
It's a st system.

To me it strikes me as the players not bothering, which is a combination of no real chance of Champions League football next season and a lot of them knowing they are gone next season/ won't be playing much even if they're not sold. Some players would try and prove themselves, but a lot seem resigned to just taking a wage knowing they should have Europa League anyway. The defeats to Man U and Arsenal that basically wrote off the previous run of successes just destroyed the attitude and it's now "nothing to play for" rather than fighting to do your best that they should be doing anyway.

If that is the case then I agree it is a pretty poor set up all round, yet when you listen to BR he always talks as if he could rule the world if he was given half the chance...his speciality has always been talking the talk but its walking the walk that he hasn't mastered sadly.
