The Championship final 5 games thread
Discussion
Only just seen this thread. Nervous night tonight, I'm a Bournemouth fan, will be sitting listening on the radio in my 'lucky' shirt (which is seen by most fans as their 'unlucky' green and black away strip from the late 90s). They were my local team as a lad, I remember going with Dad and then latterly with my Dad and sister when attendances were struggling to reach 2,000 or 3,000. 0-0 home draws with Lincoln City and having my pick of 200 seats in the section I sat in.
Massively proud of what they've achieved, they've always tried to play the 'right way' and have often reared home-grown talent. Now on the verge of the biggest league in the world just six years after being in administration and 90 minutes away from the oblivion of dropping into the Conference. In the more recent past the club was so short of money that players forewent wages and wages were paid in cash from the gate receipts in the dressing room after the match.
I believe of all Premier League teams in history, only Oldham had a smaller ground that Dean Court (still can't call it the Goldsands). Fingers crossed.

Although I'm a Watford supporter, I live just outside Bournemouth so wish you luck tonight.
