One win out of two will all but seal automatic promotion for Bournemouth too, barring a major goal difference change. They will probably still mess up somehow though!

Great to see Watford back in the top division.

I've been a supported for over 40 years now so have had my fair share of ups and downs.

Lewis Grabban clearly wanted his old club to go up, but I don't think his actions yesterday have endeared him to City fans. At this stage, an away point just isn't enough.

And now for the stress of the play-offs.

Only just seen this thread. Nervous night tonight, I'm a Bournemouth fan, will be sitting listening on the radio in my 'lucky' shirt (which is seen by most fans as their 'unlucky' green and black away strip from the late 90s). They were my local team as a lad, I remember going with Dad and then latterly with my Dad and sister when attendances were struggling to reach 2,000 or 3,000. 0-0 home draws with Lincoln City and having my pick of 200 seats in the section I sat in.

Massively proud of what they've achieved, they've always tried to play the 'right way' and have often reared home-grown talent. Now on the verge of the biggest league in the world just six years after being in administration and 90 minutes away from the oblivion of dropping into the Conference. In the more recent past the club was so short of money that players forewent wages and wages were paid in cash from the gate receipts in the dressing room after the match.

I believe of all Premier League teams in history, only Oldham had a smaller ground that Dean Court (still can't call it the Goldsands). Fingers crossed.

Although I'm a Watford supporter, I live just outside Bournemouth so wish you luck tonight.

PS. It will always be Dean Court smile

Really hope Bournemouth can do it. It'd be good to see them in the Premier League, will be watching tonight and cheering you on. smile

Then you smash us (Man Utd) 6-0 next season.

I've got a mate of mine who's a Spurs supporter. He's not looking forward to the Watford games next season at all smile

Wish my old man was still about to see this, he used to take me to the old Dean Court when i was a kid in the late 70's early 80's. He'd be chuffed to bits. angel
