That young man is having quite a year!
If it wasn't for Leicester it really would the story of the year. Scoring like that against Arsenal and then 3 minutes of your England debut?

One hopes it can only get better!

He'll score in his Champions League final debut in a couple of seasons no doubt.

Would be a great way to cap off a first season for Real Madrid.

Against Australia, which is like scoring against St. Wilfred's ladies second eleven.....don't get too giddy!

Who should he have waited to make his debut against?

Pointless comment, it is far easier scoring against the likes of Australia than a decent team with a decent defence. Do you really think that Australia would be in the Premier League if they were a club team? No..neither do I. Well done to the lad for scoring a goal in an England shirt and I genuinely hope that he sets the Euros alight but it's a bit like Wooney's scoring record for England, lots if his goals against non-descript teams and so don't really count. Pele is the same with his constant banging on about how many goals he has scored at international level, but he fails to mention that alot of his goals were for the Brazilian Army team. Pathetic really. Ironic that some of the less informed utd fans call Wooney "the white pele".

FFS, England finally has an outstanding young talented striker coming through and yet "fans" still feel the need to put him down. Pathetic.

Don't talk ste.

For one you can't play Brazil or Germany every week and second England are pretty non-descript themselves when it comes to the big occasion. You play what's in front of you and every goal counts the same.

Not really. What you said is pointless. The original comment was "That young man is having quite a year!", not sure why you're downplaying it like we're saying he's one of the best in the world or some st. 90 days ago he was an unknown and now he's scoring on his England debut. Pretty bizarre.

Wahaha, Wayne Wooney, the white Pele....your club is comedy gold.

Louis would've been very pleased with the white Pele. Shame he didn't even get to see the Ginger Pele.

Good on Marcus Rashford; he has given Hodgson something to think about. Personally, he would be a good fit if Sturridge isn't 100%, which it looks like he isn't.

We seem to have an influx of extra special idiots over the last few days, is it Maureen or did half term start early in some places?

He'd be a better fit than Sturridge and Rashfords not made of glass either wink

We should all do our bit to support Haymarket's contribution to Care in the Community.

You've got to remember that the fit is not dependent on form, it's on face. That's why we have always carried less deserving players in the England team. Also, what's to say Rashford isn't also made of glass? Hope not of course; for England's sake, not Manu's!

Nope, wrong. I simply pointed out the obvious in that he wasn't playing against a defence that would test him. And, I went on to congratulate him and hoped that he would light up the tournament. Hardly putting him down. As for there finally being a young talented striker I think Harry Kane might have something to say about that.

You really should cut back on the expletives, it isn't big and it's certainly not clever. However I thank you for acknowledging that Wooney's goals have also come against opposition that would struggle in our league two, in fact 13 of his goals have come against San Marino, Croatia and Switzerland but let's not let facts cloud the view from red tinted glasses hey?
